ABOUT

The Four Italian Tenors Formed in 2018 with the intention of bringing the great tradition of Italian music to the world, after their very first beginnings in Rome, they were protagonists of a first big successful 3-month tour in America in 2019. 57 concerts in the most important American cities with double piano and new special arrangements, followed by 2 historical concerts in Turkey (Ankara and Istanbul) on the occasion of Atatürk's anniversary with the orchestra, and another 40 concerts in Bulgaria. In 2022, they inaugurated the prestigious 62nd Festival of Ohrid in Macedonia with great success, and in the year 2023, with the inauguration of the equally prestigious "Peter Dvorsky" Festival in the Czech Republic, now in its 25th edition. Since 2024, the group has undertaken an incessant world tour of successful concerts in auditoriums and Theaters, artistically conquering many European nations and countries such as Kazakhstan and Korea, always achieving great success with the public and critics.


Alessandro Fantoni was born in Genoa. He studied at the Opernhaus Academy of Zürich, Switzerland, and he perfected his studies with Roberto Sèrvile. He debuted with him as Gabriele Adorno (Simon Boccanegra) and Ismaele (Nabucco) in Piacenza.


Fantoni made first debuts with the Dänische Nationaloper in Aarhus: Roberto in Maria Stuarda, Nemorino in L'Elisir d'Amore, Duca in Rigoletto, Alfredo in La traviata, Manrico in Il trovatore and Rodolfo in La Bohème.


Angelo Forte began his vocal studies at the “Stanislao Giacomantonio” Conservatory of Music in Cosenza while simultaneously pursuing his university education. In November 2006, he graduated in Classics from the University of Calabria (Unical). He attended numerous advanced training courses and received public praise from major figures in the opera world, including Renata Scotto, Carlo Bergonzi, Giuseppe Giacomini, and Magda Olivero. Also in 2006, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of W. A. Mozart's birth, he participated in and won the “Moz’Art Project,” organized by the Teatro Rendano in Cosenza, and made his debut in The Magic Flute as the First Armed Man. Having attracted critical attention, he was named among the promising young talents by noted music critic Carlo Vitali in the November–December 2006 issue of Opera Now.


Gianni Leccese Tenor Gianni Leccese is a talented Italian tenor, educated under the supervision of outstanding artists: William Matteuzzi and Leone Magiera –a legendary pianist and conductor, a close collaborator of Luciano Pavarotti himself.


He made his debut in Ruggero Leoncavallo's opera Pagliacci, performing as part of opera seasons and festivals in cities such as Pisa, Grosseto, Massa Marittima, Pescara and Viterbo. His career quickly gained international momentum. The artist has given concerts and opera performances on four continents – China, Japan, Egypt, Indonesia, Great Britain, Greece, France, the Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and Cyprus, winning critical acclaim and audience enthusiasm.


UGO TARQUINI  He began studying piano and his choral activity at the age of eight. Eventually, he majored in lyrical singing with excellent grades from the Conservatory Licinio Refice of Frosinone. He continued his postgraduate studies under the guidance of some of the most important figures of the Italian technical and interpretive operatic tradition, such as Nicola Martinucci, Alfredo Zanazzo and Lucetta Bizzi.


After completing the 2014 Puccini Festival Academy in Torre del Lago, he was selected to engage in that year’s edition of the prestigious Festival as Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, joining the cast of Il Trittico with artists such as Amarilli Nizza and Alberto Mastromarino, under the conduction of Maestro Bruno Nicoli.
