ABOUT
Dr. Patrick Brill is a commissioned composer and college professor, who has written numerous classical style compositions, including a cappella sacred vocal works, instrumental chamber compositions, symphonic orchestral pieces, and compositions for choir and orchestra, as well as a major violin concerto, among others.
Born and raised in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, Dr. Brill holds a Ph.D. in historical musicology from the University of Kansas. He also earned a Master’s of Music in music history from the University of Northern Iowa, as well as a B.A. in music from the University of Minnesota, where he studied piano, music history, and music theory/composition. He also holds a B.A. in philosophy from the College (now University) of St. Thomas. More
