Mary Voutsas

ABOUT

Mary-Victoria is a concert pianist and scholar celebrated for her powerful, deeply expressive performances and her dedication to the preservation of Hellenic music and works written during wartime. She has given recitals at prominent venues including the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage and Terrace Theater, in ensemble at NPR's Tiny Desk Series, Lisner Auditorium and solo at numerous embassies throughout Washington, D.C. She has also appeared with ensembles such as the Peabody Chamber Orchestra and the Washington Philharmonic, and has performed under the direction of Murry Sidlin in affiliation with Defiant

Requiem.


A laureate of numerous international competitions, Voutsas earned 2024 Platinum Prize in the Max Bruch International Piano Competition, the 2023 Gold Medal in the Nobel-Artist International Competition, and the Bronze Medal in the 2023 Carles & Sofia International Piano Competition. As a member of the award-winning group, Salon Trio,  she received 2nd place at the 2024 Lancaster International Piano Festival and the overall prize at the 2025 International

Music Grand Prix. More
