The baritone José Bardají was born in Barcelona (Spain) and his vocal qualities were discovered by the bass - baritone Carlos Chausson.

He commences his singing studies with Maestro Juan Oncina as well as his musical education, finishing his training in the Andana Academy of Madrid (Spain). He continues his vocal studies with Isabel Penagos, Josefina Arregui and North American Master Anthony Madigan.

In 1992 wins the first prize of the Cataloni an Voices and in 1996 two extraordinary prizes in the International Concours of Chant “Francisco Viñas”.
