Heidi Hatch

ABOUT

Violinist Heidi Hatch is taking the classical music world by storm with her wildly passionate individual style. Her first teacher, legendary Soviet guru, Abram Shtern described her as "a rare talent, a natural on stage, possessed of an emotional urgency and musical understanding far beyond her years.” She made her professional debut as soloist with the Glendale Symphony in Sarasate’s “Carmen Fantasy” at the age of eleven, and has appeared since on world stages such as Los Angeles’ Ambassador Auditorium, Madrid’s Auditorio Sony, and the Harbin Grand Theatre in China. Her fiery temperament has brought her particular recognition for
some of the violin’s most intensely virtuosic music, by such composers as Paganini, Wieniawski, Vieuxtemps, etc.

In addition to her early work with Abram Shtern, Heidi’s studies with Zakhar Bron at Madrid’s elite “Escuela Reina Sofia” place her in the mainstream of the Russian violin tradition. She has served as concertmaster from a young age of numerous orchestras, including the Los Angeles “Debut Orchestra”, Santa Monica Symphony, and Orquesta Festival Villanueva de los Infantes in Spain. Most recently, she performed in 2019 as concertmaster of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. More
