ABOUT

My family is from Vienna, Austria, and eventually moved to the United States when I was a teen. I was introduced to music as a boy, beginning my music studies on the Contrabass and Cello, and continuing my studies in the US with members of the Cleveland Orchestra. When I came to the US, I also began playing Electric Bass, Piano, Guitar, Saxophone, and started playing music with a few local bands. By the time I was 17, I was playing professionally 3-4 times a week.

During the mid 1970’s, I switched from Bass to Guitar, and entered music school at the Cleveland Institute of Music to earn my BA in music. For the next 20 years, I earned my living as a touring and studio musician playing guitar and keyboards with many well known international recording artists. During these years, I had hit recordings and travelled the world, and also earned my living as a professional composer and arranger for radio and television, and well known music artists.

During the late 1990’s, I was hired full time for 10 years to work as a Music Director, Keyboardist, Guitarist, Bassist, and Vocalist for a 9 piece band at Shephard’s Resort in Clearwater, Florida. During this time, I decided to return to school to further my musical education, and earn my Masters degree in music theory, piano, and orchestration. Once again, I switched instruments to Piano and Keyboards while in school. During this period, I returned to my first love of Classical Music, and began composing for the Piano, Chamber Music, and eventually Orchestral music.. More
