
ABOUT
Soprano Anastasia Antropova is a versatile artist with training as a pianist and vocal coach, performing in both European and American venues. Recent operatic highlights include the title role of Carmen with the Chicago Summer Opera, Morelia Opera Festival, Zapopan Orchestra, and La Mancha Symphony Orchestra, as well as Donna Elvira at the Vienna Opera Festival and Rosina at the Prolirica Foundation Festival in Medellin. In 2025, she performed with Boulder Symphony and the concert was recorded by Parma recordings.
While currently focusing on solo vocal and operatic engagements, Anastasia also maintains her piano activities, performing solo and in ensemble, and continues to teach both piano and voice. Her piano achievements include the 2020 release of her album “Chopin. Late Works” and winning the 2022 Illinois Chapter of the National Society of Arts & Letters competition.
Anastasia holds a Master of Music in piano performance from Saint Petersburg Conservatory, based in her home city, where she also studied voice and composition. She further honed her vocal and piano skills in Milan. In 2023 she earned a master’s degree in vocal performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Her Chicago Symphony Center stage debut came in 2022 as a soloist in Mahler’s Symphony No. 3.
