Vlad Alexandru Robu

ABOUT

Romanian baritone Vlad Alexandru Robu graduated with a Bachelor of Music and a Master Degree in Singing with Pedagogy from The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has studied with the swedish soprano, Åsa Bäverstam and later with prof. Kirsten Buhl Møller.  
 
Vlad made his debut in 2013 at The National Operetta and Musical Theater "Ion Dacian" in Bucharest, Romania, singing Ben in the Musical "Rebecca" by Michael Kunze and Sylvester Levay, directed by Attila Beres. Original director - Francesca Zambello. Vlad had great success being the first cast and has been highly appreciated by the audience. 
 
In 2015, Vlad was accepted at the prestigious Accademia del Belcanto "Rodolfo Celetti" in Martina Franca, Italy, where he participated in the 42 edition of the Festival Della Valle D´Itria in the opera L´incoronazione di Poppea by Claudio Monteverdi. He worked with the following teachers: Stefania Bonfadelli, Lella Cuberli, Juliette Deschamps, Antonio Greco, Cristina Liuzzi, Sherman Lowe, Fabio Luisi, Roberta Mameli, Ettore Papadia, Alessandro Patalini, Paola Pittaluga, Sonia Prina, Vincenzo Rana, Carmen Santoro, Roberto Servile, Benedetto Sicca Č™i Vittorio Terranova. More
