ABOUT
The "Chamber Orchestra of Lecce and Salento" Cultural Association, founded by the M ° Luigi Mazzotta, current President, is a non-profit association with the aim of favoring activities aimed at promoting beauty, musical culture and the search for one's own
roots, both with the repetition of the timeless value of the great fathers of music, such as Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Hendel, Albinoni, Scarlatti, Marcello etc., both for the recovery of musicians Pugliesi and Salento, such as Leonardo Leo, Pasquale Cafaro, Saverio Mercadante, Tommaso Traetta etc., through a search for unpublished or little known works, to make more solid our identity and make it participate in those who love good music in order to enrich the already appreciated artistic heritage of the "Tacco d'Italia" in the tourist route-cultural heritage of the territory. Particular interest was given to highlight the repertoire of Sacred Music, cradle of the Italian and European musical heritage, which crosses a irrepressible and unjust decline.
