ABOUT
The Metamorphosis group, born from an idea of the master Franco Mezzena, in March 2018. The idea was immediately that of giving life to a new and unconventional formation. The trio, if necessary quintet, is formed by the three main soloist instruments: violin, (Franco Mezzena, Stefano Giavazzi and Marianna Musotto) piano and trumpet.
The percussions are always contemplated, the double bass if necessary. The repertoire is essential to crossover, as can be seen from the first album, released in November 2018. It is a collection of soundtracks, from the 60s to today, rearranged for an unusual trio, in which all the instruments are completed, performing solo parts.
