Dr. Marjory Serrano-Coyer is a Venezuelan-American violinist, concertmaster, educator, author, and internationally recognized advocate for Latin American classical music. Praised for her artistry and commitment to expanding the violin repertoire, she has appeared as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer throughout the Americas and Europe.

Dr. Serrano-Coyer began studying violin at the age of seven through Venezuela's renowned El Sistema program before continuing her training with several of the country's leading pedagogues. She earned a Master of Arts in Violin Performance and an Artist Diploma from Shenandoah Conservatory, followed by a Doctor of Musical Arts in Violin Performance from The Catholic University of America, where her doctoral research focused on Latin American violin repertoire.

She has performed under distinguished conductors including Larry Livingston and Lorin Maazel and has appeared at celebrated venues such as Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Kennedy Center.
