John Little

ABOUT

John Little is a highly respected hornist, educator, and recording artist whose career reflects a deep commitment to artistic excellence, historical understanding, and pedagogical impact. With over two decades of experience across the United States and abroad, Mr. Little has earned a reputation as a versatile performer and an inspiring teacher.


He has performed extensively as a touring member of the Starlight Horn Duo, appearing on recital stages and educational workshops throughout the region. As a featured soloist and clinician, Mr. Little has been invited to perform and present at major events such as the Northeast Horn Workshop, Ohio University Horn Weekend, Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) Conference, Kentucky Music Teachers Association (KMTA) Conference, the Southern Indiana Mozart Festival, and at universities including Murray State University, Campbellsville University, and Ohio University. His performances with ensembles including the Jewish Community Orchestra, Kentuckiana Philharmonic, and the Christian Academy of Louisville Wind Ensemble further reflect the breadth of his musical contributions, from community outreach to formal concertizing.


In addition to his live performances, Mr. Little is the creator and performer behind Hornistic, his latest solo album project, which showcases both traditional and contemporary works for horn.
